KURTH, Laura
Laura Kurth, age 66, of Middletown, succumbed to cancer on Oct. 27, 2013, at Mountain View Community, in Ossipee, NH. Born in Gainesville, FL to Arthur L. and Marguerite (Jarlett) Kurth, Laura graduated from Gettysburg College ('69) and was a Child Services Worker at Riverview Hospital, Middletown, for 35 years. A friend to all and sympathizer of the less fortunate, including numerous cats over the years, Laura is survived by her sister, Elissa Paquette, and brother-in-law Ron, of Wolfeboro, NH, and nieces Caroline Newton of Belmont, MA and Alison Hayford of Ossipee, NH.
A 2 p.m. service in celebration of her life will be held at Faith Lutheran Church, 300 Washington St., Middletown, on Nov. 16. Memorial gifts may be made in her name to the church's Camp Calumet Scholarship Fund. Continuing acts of kindness in deed and thought will be a tribute to her life.

Hi Laura & Theresa!
It was been a whole year since you left us Laura to return to the spirit form of that which we all are and will return again. Laura, your spirit was not diminished when you died, but illuminated for all of us still in the physical. Laura continue to be a presence in our lives, for our hearts still grieve for the one we remember so lovingly. Theresa, may you feel Laura's loving presence and when you are having feelings of love, appreciation and peace. She will ALWAYS be with you as well as the rest of us, who loved her so dearly. Peace be with you now and always. Laura please go and stay close to Theresa, for her heart is still heavy with grief with missing you. Thank you

It was one year ago today god
took you home. He took all your pain and left people that was close to you with a broken heart. I know it takes time for the heart to heal when you lost someone so dear to you. It was a hard year and I know your in a better place with no more pain. I will keep you in my prayers.

Theresa you are a wonderful devoted friend to Laura! I am certain she loved you a great deal! I'm also sure that she valued YOUR friendship and YOU! Keep strong Theresa! Laura would want that! Hi its October 22 and sitting in my kitchen thinking of you. Wishing I could just give you a call cause I have butterflies in my stomach I'm going to get my eyes checked today its been a long time. I know you didn't care about tattoos but I had a few done a Angel because you always saw them around me a cat because they was your favorite animal and flowers cause you always loved your flowers outside and your name under it. You will always be so close to my heart. I know that my time with you was very short but you was a very dear friend to me and I know everything you ever did for me I will always cherish. Just want you to know how much you are mist. I've been thinking of you so much and how much you had touched my heart it hurts when you have lost a very dear friend.You have made a big difference in my life . God took you from me so you didn't have no more pain and made you a very special ANGLE to watch over me. Hi I'm sure missing you a lot. Its been almost a year that you left us it sure seams a lot longer than that. I won't be able to write to you in a couple of months cause i text on my phone and I will miss not being able to. Its been over a month sense I sent you a word. We went on vacation once again I was sick for it. We still enjoyed it but I mist my aunt coming out of her room. I sat in the chair she would of if she was here. I know you didnt know her but I talked to you about her a few times she was like a sister more than a aunt. I wish you was here I miss all the talks we had and how much you cared about me. I know you are all around me as I take each step through my life.I went to see an old family friend it was so hard to see her not able to do anything for herself. I had to cry. Hi I just came from my day and stopped in to show the guy who did my arm for me cause I have not stopped by for him to see it after it heal. Its really nice I wish you was here when I got it done but im sure you was with me looking at it when I was having it done but I will always have a memory of you with me. Love you and miss you

I was talking with a customer and we was talking about my praying hands and I had told her I had gotten something else I wanted her to see I know your looking down on me so you have seen what im talking about I've got a angel and cat and your name under it. Its the last day of April and im sitting in the living room thinking of you alot. I cant wait just a few more days to go for a very special memory of someone so dear to me. I'm so very sorry I cant call you just to say I love you or say how are yo today. Younever know how much you really love someone till there gone. You are a very special person and always will be to me. Every time I see a cat I think on you. We went to a pet store and when I saw the two cats I was thinking of you. Sitting at my kitchen table thinking about you and missing you.I so wish I could just one more time call you or just say how much I love you and even if its just to say thanks for making my life a little better cause you showed me a nother kind of love and you.didnt want anything in return. Hi it's me again I sure have been thinking of you alot and thanking god for giving me a friend like you even if it was a few years I had you as a friend no one will ever be as good of a friend as you was. It never mattered to you wether people had money or didn't have anything at all you still made friends. I know you was always there for me good times or bad you gave me the strength to go on when I was down and out at work to not let people get me down. Hi it's snowing again and it's cold out. I was thinking of you alot and missing you alot it's hard not having you to talk to me. What a mess this weather is we have to shovel again. We just got a new chair and my little dog was laying down with me on it when I woke up I couldn't find him he was laying on the pillow overy head he had me crying. I know dogs aren't you're favorite but I know you would under stand how I feel about my pets you always cared enough to listen. You always took time to listen to everyone and never said anything even when you wanted to say why don't you listen to me for once. You are so very missed by everyone you have touched many lives and shared love with many. I know I miss you lots.

Hi I've been thinking of you alot. When I see customers getting food for their animals I think of you. I remember the time we went to go get cat food so I could be the kitty's secret santa for them it was fun dropping them off. We did a lot of things going but most of all miss the calls talking for hours and looking at the plants you grew outside in the yard. Learning the different plants. You always liked things that was colorful. I miss you lots its hard to not try to dial your number just to say high. Love and miss you lots

Dear Laura, Last week I had a sudden need to go to Petfinder. I don't know why but after a half hour of looking I saw a puppy I could not take my eyes off of. I do not need another dog, one is plenty! Well, her name is currently Halo and she is a rescue puppy. She was the only found alive when they went to pick up 3 pups. She is brokenhearted and will not even look at people. She is a beautiful yellow lab about 4 mos old and she will be coming from Kentucky to our home on Dec 7th. I just know you had something to do this! And guess what? I'm happy! I love you,Laura.

Laura was an amazing person always putting others before herself. She was very comforting when I lost my mother in March. We worked together for many years and Laura never had a bad word to say about anyone. I will miss our facebook chats and miss her. She will always hold a special place in my heart.
