Dear Fred, Keith, and Laura,

Your card for our own recent loss meant so much to us. I wish I could offer you the same comfort. I am so sorry that you too are facing a devastating loss. Jean fought hard. Everyone tells me to hold onto the memories but sometimes the memories just make me want him back even more. I guess it will just take time. We are passing through the valley with you. Please let us know if we can help.

I'm bishop for the Church of the Risen Savior in Rockville.(Fr. Ed Campolongo) is the pastor). I never met Laura but heard about her passing. I have been deeply interested for years in our POW/MIAs and heard about Laura's connection. May the Lord Jesus be with every one of the family and make a wonderful entrance into his presence for Laura. His Name be praised!

I am so sorry for your loss. However, knowing Jesus as her Saviour, Jean knows she is with her Heavenly Father for eternity with a whole pain-free body. She touched greatly those she knew and met. Jean and her mother Mary are both wonderful. I am better for having known them.

My deepest sympathy to the family. I never knew Jean, but was a friend of her mom, Mary. If Jean was anything like her mom, the world has lost another shining light.

My prayers are with the family during this difficult time.
