Lawrence Burns Obituary

BURNS, Lawrence "Larry" Lawrence "Larry" Burns, 62, owner of Lighthouse Cleaners of Old Saybrook passed away Monday, (February 5, 2007). He was born on October 15, 1944 in New York City to the late John E. Jr. and Evelyn (Cole) Burns. Larry is survived by his wife, Susan Burns, his daughter Tracy Burns and his grandson Kyle. Larry is also survived by his brother, John E. Burns III, his nephew, John E. Burns IV and his niece, Meredith Burns. A celebration of Larry's life will be held at Swan Funeral Home, 825 Boston Post Rd., Old Saybrook on Friday February 9, from 5-7 p.m. Due to his great admiration for the uniform services donations may be made in lieu of flowers to the Old Saybrook Police Department, 225 Main Street Old Saybrook, CT 06475; the Old Saybrook Fire Department 310 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475 Attn: Ed Yeager, Treasurer or to the Old Saybrook EMS 316 Main Street, Old Saybrook, CT 06475.
