Linnea P. LINDQUIST

LINDQUIST, Linnea P. Linnea P. (Gustavson) Lindquist, 99, of West Hartford, died Monday (February 08, 2010) at her home. She was the widow of George Arnold Lindquist. Born in Collinsville, she was a daughter of the late Albert and Anna Oliva (Svenson) Gustavson. She was a member of Emanuel Lutheran Church where she was active in Group 7 and the Hu-Wi Club. Linnea was a talented baker, known for the wedding cakes she created, and a loving card sender. She leaves two children and their spouses, Susan and Edward Maher of Newington, and Dale and Marion Lindquist of Cortland Manor, NY; her grandchildren, John Patrick and Kirsten Anne Lindquist; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. She was predeceased by her sister, Lillian, and her brothers, Harry, Oscar, and Edwin. A Funeral Service will be held Saturday, February 13, 2010, 10 a.m. at Emanuel Lutheran Church, 311 Capitol Avenue, Hartford. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, New Britain. Friends and relatives will be received at the Taylor & Modeen Funeral Home, 136 South Main Street, West Hartford on Friday, February 12, 2010 from 4-7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Linnea's memory may be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
