OSIECKI, Lucian S. Lucian S. Osiecki, 81, of New Britain, died Thursday, (November 11, 2004) in Kensington. He was the husband of the late Ethel (Zambori) Osiecki for 50 years. Born in New Britain, son of the late Alexander and Pauline (Chojnicki) Osiecki, Lucian was a life long city resident and was a member and served as a collector at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. He was devoted to his family, an avid fisherman, Yankee's fan and a member of the Pulaski Music Club. He retired in 1987 from Chandler Evans after 33 years of employment and was a U.S. Army Air Corp Veteran of World War II serving in the European Theatre, where he was a crewmember on a B-17G. Mr. Osiecki leaves his two sons, Peter Robert Osiecki and his wife, Jane, of Goffstown, NH, David Comeau and his wife, Nobuko, of Okinawa, Japan; his daughters, Andrea Rossignol and her husband, Robert, of Kensington with whom he made his home, Lucia Osiecki and Deborah Jones, of Brattleboro, VT; his four grandchildren, David Pfahler and Kristin Guerin, Sarah and Johanna Osiecki; six great grandchildren, Michael, Mark and Mitchell Guerin, Allison, Logan and Jessica Grace Pfahler; his two sisters, Stephanie Hawkins and her husband, Al, of Newington, Wanda Scott of Cincinnati, OH; many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers and sisters, Ted Osiecki, Anthony Osiecki, Sophie Osiecki and Irene Kragiel. His funeral services will be held Saturday, 9:15 a.m. from the Burritt Hill Funeral Home, 332 Burritt St., New Britain, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 10 a.m. at Holy Cross Church, New Britain. Interment with military honors will be in Holy Trinity Byzantine Cemetery, New Britain. Relatives and friends are invited to call this evening (Friday) from 5-8 p.m. at Burritt Hill.
