Margaret B. DiPietro

1923 - 2016

Margaret B. DiPietro, 92, of Meriden, wife of the late Anthony J. DiPietro, died on Saturday, March 5, 2016 at Midstate Medical Center after a long illness. Born in Meriden on September 23, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Enoch and Helen (Schroeder) Beal. She was a lifelong resident of Meriden. She helped manage her husband's business, "The Checker Cab Company" for many years and later she worked at The Napier Company before her retirement. She was a parishioner of St. John Lutheran Church in Meriden and Zion Lutheran Church in Wallingford. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed. She is survived by five children, Donna Albert and her husband Don of Barnstable, MA, David DiPietro of New Britain, Darryl DiPietro and his fiancée Tracy Grajewski of Plainville and Daniel DiPietro and his wife Traci of Alabama; one stepdaughter, Karen Farmer of Georgia; four grandchildren Heather, Anthony, Cassondra and Cole; six great-grandchildren, Nathaniel, Thomas, Nevada, Tessa, Abel and Hunter and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by two sisters, Helen Bazinet and Augusta Peregrin and a brother Charles Beal Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service to be held on Saturday, March 12, 2016 at 12 noon at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home, 88 East Main Street, Meriden. Burial will be in Gethsemane Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, March 11th from 4 to 7 pm.
