Marian Mokritski

Marian (Maselek) Mokritski, 72, of Wethersfield, passed away peacefully, Monday, March 30, 2015, surrounded by her loving family, friends and her special grand dog, Sophia. She was born in Hartford, November 2, 1942, daughter of the late Stanley and Julia (Naliwaika) Maselek and lived in Hartford, prior to moving to Wethersfield. Up until her retirement, she worked for many years with the Travelers/United Healthcare Insurance Company. Marian was a sweet, loving, courageous, warm and dignified woman, who always had a smile on her face when she saw you and never allowed the long battle with MS to change her spirit. Marian will be dearly missed by her children; daughters, Ellen Mokritski Cirullo and her husband Tom of Wethersfield, whom Marian regarded as a son, Joanna (Mokritski) Fellows and her husband Mark of Florida and a son Kenneth Mokritski and his wife Patty of Newington. She also leaves her grandchildren; Hope, Luke and Zack Fellows, Matt and Heather Mokritski, Rob and Ashley Garbalosa, as well as many nieces, nephews and dear friends. Marian was predeceased by her sister, Connie Belaski Shoemaker. Ellen and Tom would like to thank Valri, Hillary, Emy, Mildred, Zory, her many dedicated doctors throughout the years and the staff at Interim Healthcare/Hospice, especially Kateri, Sharon and Kurt for their care and compassion.Friends and relatives may pay their respects to the family Tuesday, April 7, 2015 from 4-7pm at the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd., Wethersfield. A funeral procession will form at the funeral home, Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 9am and proceed to SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford for a Mass of Christian Burial at 10am celebrating Marian's life. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery, Hartford.
