In My Pocket
I have memories in my pocket.
They rattle among the change.
My memories of you are treasures I carry wherever I go.
They are stored in bits and pieces, parts of a beautiful whole
They give me comfort when I think I am alone.
Yes, I have memories in my pocket, like so much other stuff I keep there.
But of all the treasures I have, it’s the memories of you that are the most precious.

Hi Doreen, I just wanted to drop a few words of comfort in this time of sorrow. I can truly say i know what your going through and mean it. A lot of people are going to be there for the funeral but not as many people are going to be around in months to come when the pain is still so fresh and its going to seem like your never going to stop hurting but you will as each day goes by GOD makes it a little better, although you never forget, you just learn to deal with it. Be safe be strong my prayers are with you and your family. I too lost my best friend and the love of my life, but through it all I'm still holding on. GOD bless. PEACE-N-LOVE.
