Mark Epstein Obituary



Mark Epstein, 59 years old, of Canton, CT passed peacefully on September 28, 2015 at his home. He was born in Hartford, CT. Mark was retired from West Hartford Epstein Brothers Floor Covering and was a Veteran of the United States Army, and was awarded a National Defense Service Medal. After retirement, Mark shared his love for his fellow Veteran's by volunteering his time to the Rocky Hill Veteran's Home. Mark leaves behind his 14 year old son, Maximus, his beloved Sue, two sisters, Elaine Epstein and Susan Ungar. Mark was predeceased by his parents, Harold and Mildred Epstein and leaves behind his much-loved cousins, nieces, nephew, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and special friends. The funeral will be Friday, October 2, 2015, 11:30AM in the Chapel of the Weinstein Mortuary, 640 Farmington Ave, Hartford, CT. Interment will follow at Beth Alom Cemetery, 46 Allen St, New Britain, CT. MY SINCERE CONDOLENCES FOR THE LOSS OF MARK. WE MET AT THE VA, NOT MANY SUNDAYS WENT BY WITH OUT MARK AND I GOING TO SEE MAX. Susan and Elaine and complete family of Mark W. Epstein. We are so sorry to hear of your loss.

I remember the day Mark was born (my birthday). I remember seeing him his first day at home.

Our families were very much intertwined back then and to an extent - will always be. Our hearts are heavy.
