Mark Maher Obituary
Mark E. Maher, 55, of Windsor, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital. Born in Hartford to Theodore and Rolande (Danis) Maher, he has been a Windsor resident all of his life. Mark was a Master Electrician, earned his black belt in Karate and enjoyed reading and playing the guitar. He kept a close circle of friends and loved spending time with them and his family. Besides his parents, Theodore and Rolande of Windsor he is survived by his sons Mark-Andrew Maher and Christian Maher, both of Windsor; his daughter Sara Maher of Windsor; his brother Michael Maher and his wife June of South Windsor; his sisters Lynn Baker and her husband Brad of Windsor, and Kimberly Maher and her partner Michael Wypy of Forestville; and his nephews Erik Maher and Aaron Baker. A funeral service will be held at 11:30 AM Monday, October 19 at the Carmon Funeral Home, 807 Bloomfield Ave Windsor followed by burial in Riverside Cemetery, Windsor. His family will receive friends prior to the service on Monday from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. In lieu of flowers, his family requests donations be made in his name to Mary's Place, 6 Poquonock Ave Windsor, CT 06095. For online condolences please visit www.carmonfuneralhome.com
