BOYLE, Mary Lou (Cote)
Mary Lou (Cote) Boyle, 89, widow of LCDR James Edward Boyle, passed away in peace with God, on Sunday (October 28, 2012) at Vernon Manor, surrounded by her loving children. She was born January 26, 1923 in Arlington, MA, the daughter of the late Harvey and Nora Cote. She is survived by her beloved children and their spouses Kevin and Laura Boyle of Brighton, MA, Marc and Gina Boyle of Andover, CT, Richard and Tammy Boyle of Tolland, CT, Kathleen ("KT") Boyle of Santa Clara, CA; seven grandchildren Taylor, Kylie, Melanie and her husband Bob, Shannon, James, Stephen, Jennifer; two great grandchildren, Emma and Ben; a brother Harvey "Bud" Cote, Jr. of Arlington, MA; two nephews Stephen and Barry; her niece and Godchild, Jeannine, and nieces Annette and Maria Cote. Mary was a devout catholic who's motto: "smile at everyone you meet, it might make you and them feel good", is a testament to how she lived her life.
Mom would ask that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in her name, to a favorite animal charity; or to the Arthritis Foundation. We respectfully ask that should you choose to send flowers, cheerful everday bouquets or arrangements would be great. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, November 3, 2012 at 11 a.m. at St Joseph's Church, 33 West St., Rockville, followed by a celebration of Mom's life at Adam's Mill in Manchester, CT. Burial will be private for family members only. There are no calling hours. The Burke-Fortin Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.
