Mary Limeburner

LIMEBURNER, Mary Mary (Zdanuk) Limeburner, 78, of Plainville, passed away on Sunday (January 27, 2008), at Plainville Health Care Center. She is now reunited with her beloved husband of 42 years, Miles Limeburner. Mrs. Limeburner was born in New Britain on February 23, 1929, the youngest of three daughters to the late Stanley and Michalena Zdanuk. She was raised in New Britain, and was employed by Stanley Works, where she met the love of her life, Miles, retiring in 1962 to stay home and raise her family. Upon moving to Plainville, she became a member of the Congregational Church. Mary was a woman of simplicity, who enjoyed taking long walks, and playing an occasional game of bowling. A resident of Plainville Health Care for over four years, she enjoyed participating in their frequent BINGO games. She leaves her daughters and sons-in-law, Cynthia and John Potter of Plainville and Diane and John Lane of Bristol; six grandchildren, Matthew and Christopher Potter and Aaron, Rebecca, Andrew, and Ryan Lane; her sister, Jessie Danek of New Britain; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a sister, Stasia Hrubiec. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the chapel at West Cemetery, Plainville, with the Reverend Dr. Claire Bamberg, officiating.
