Matt Nolan Obituary
Mr. Matt Nolan, 38, died Friday, February 27, 2015, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was the husband of Rebecca (Long) Nolan and father of Alexandra. Mr. Nolan was born September 19, 1976, in New Haven. He was the son of Patricia (Tyler) Nolan and the late William M Nolan. He resided in Cheshire and Woodbury before moving to Stafford Springs. He attended Rumsey Hall School, Westminster, and graduated from The Gunnery. He earned a BS in Computer Science with a minor in Business from SCSU. He was the Director, Small Commercial Marketing Analytics, at The Hartford. In addition to his loving wife and daughter, he is survived by his mother Patricia Nolan of Morris; sister Beth Lovallo and her husband Dan of Morris; nieces Hailey Lovallo and Lilly Long; and nephew Joshua Lovallo. Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m. with a service and memories shared from 3 to 4 p.m. on Saturday, March 7, at the Southbury Funeral Home of Munson Lovetere Funeral Home, 235 Main St. North. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alexandra E. Nolan c/o Digital Credit Union, 220 Donald Lynch Blvd. Marlborough, MA 01753. Matt was one of those guys you wanted to work with; smart, sincere, curious, open and friendly. He and I shared a passion for using data to bring insights to business problems. He subscribed to the model of being objective, critical but also creative and open - in short, the way a data analyst should be to deliver the maximum value to an organization. I will really miss Matt as a colleague and am grateful I had the privilige tohave him in my circle of admired friends at The Hartford. - Rick Blake

So sad for a time he was my partner in crime.we had some crazy times even though I have not seen him in years the feelings of the good times are very much in the present so many good times so sorry we had lost touch

Although I have only known Matt for brief time, he will be missed as we considered him a part of our team. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.
