The shock-wave is starting to reach Mike's Aetna-CG-CIGNA friends. I introduced Mike to sailing on the Long Island Sound "What's that flag just ahead mean?" "ROCK!". Mike, true to his spirit, took sailing to the next level. "If it's worth doing then it's worth doing to excess". I continue to regret not buying his canoe "Adrenaline" when he left the states for his Caribbean adventure. So many hilarious memories. Rave on Mike!

Gene & Mickey have been best friends since he moved to Suffield, 1960, they hung around together, got into mischief together, went into the service on the "buddy system" . Since Mickey moved back to his "home" town we have been close. We'll never listen to any Tropical music without thinking of him. Always remember Mrs. Fisher's in New York!! We'll miss you, buddy.

My buddy Mikey, I will miss you always. You lived life to the fullest; sailing the oceans, drinking the best wine and eating the best foods. Your music was awesome along with your view of living. I will always remember our adventures; sailing to Nantucket, drinking Dom Perignon at 7am, and toasting the new day. You fought to live the way you wanted to live; in and out of the hospital; but always fighting. Always be Mikey, "just the way you are".

Mike was a very good friend I first met at Hasbro. We hung out quite a bit together. We used to go out on these long bike rides we would pick from a book he had and check them off as we did them. We stayed on Block Island one weekend and brought our bikes and had such a great time riding around the island. Mike had such a spirit and joy for life and will be missed. His reviews of food and movies were a joy to read and more detailed, informative, and humorous than any professional critic would ever write. He wrote a travelogue for a trip he took to Italy that deserves to be published. His Windjammer cruise parties were a blast. Everything he did he did with perfection, whether it involved setting up his surround sound system, or cataloging his vast music collection song by song! He was so proud of his time in the military and told us so many stories of his exploits. He could recount so much detail about the aircraft he worked on. We toured Battleship Cove once and he was like a walking encyclopedia of knowledge. We saw the Daytona 500 together and I was glad to be with him to cross that off his bucket list. I can go on and on. Mike, you were an Original and played by your own rules and that's what I'll miss the most. To Sproket-Head, Heaven gained a founding member of the Pale Riders and a true Parrot-Head fanactic. See you on the other side my friend, thank you for all the memories, you will truly be missed but your spirit lives on and I will never forget you. Whenever I need cheering up I'll think of one of our countless memories and chuckle and move on with a renewed passion for life.
To the Anacki famly we offer our deepest condolences on your loss. We are away this week on vacation and will miss the services, but you and Mike are in our thoughts.Paul and Lisa Lettieri

My condolences. I worked with Mike at Milton Bradley and Hasbro. He came up to my cabin in Maine one weekend; taught me how to shoot properly. And I once visited him at his condo in Suffield after he retired. Will try to be at the wake tomorrow.

May you fish in the best spots and drink top shelf. I will so miss you. We met at work but our friendship and fellowship was much deeper than that. Every time I catch a fish or sip on a glass of top shelf rum I'll be doing it with you.
