To Michael,
It is with deepest sorrow and a heavy heart that I send these words to you via the palms of G-d. It only took 4years and 1 month to hear of your passing. So typical of me to be late since I was always speeding into the market to pick up the order for weekend dinners at Marilyn's, of Course! I still picture you with the glasses hanging from your lips as you shook your head. I could see the smirk on your face, as you quietly gathered the order, wrote out the bill and personally carried it to the car. Never a complaint from your lips for the late hour or disturbing your crossword puzzle. Sometimes I provided the 5 or 6 letter word needed to finish the puzzle. And the considerate emergency deliveries by you to the restaurant. Don't think you fooled us. Our payment of Clams in red sauce over angelhair pasta was needed to keep you nourished for the late Friday nite business deals. Whatever!!!
Everyone hopes they will be remembered fondly after leaving this world. You didn't have to worry, leaving so many loved ones to remember the good memories of your relationship with them. We didn't. My regret is that I didn't question your health issues alot sooner. These words would have had much more of a punch given vis a vis. My condolences to your family. Chris is a caring and loving wife. She was more concerned about my feelings as she informed me of your passing even at this late date.
Rest peacefully Michael, you left a positive impact on so many. You led a good life and lived it to the fullest.
always.
