RICKARD, Mildred (Wisgo)

Mildred "Millie" (Wisgo) Rickard, 88, of Middlesex Healthcare in Middletown, died Friday June 14, 2013 at Middlesex Hospital Hospice Care Unit in Middletown. Born in Pennsylvania, on June 5, 1925. The daughter of the late Thomas and Helen (Irlick) Wisgo. Millie retired from Pratt & Whitney Aircraft as a machinist, prior to that worked at the Russell Company, and EIS in Middletown. She is survived by two sons, Stephen F. Lee and his wife Andrea of Fort Myers FL and Kenneth Skomro and his wife Kathleen of Middletown, three grandchildren, Michael, and Christopher Skomro, also Stephen Lee Jr. and his wife Kimberly of Durham and three Great grandchildren Eric, Daniel and Kevin Lee, two nieces, Karen Rigdon and Deborah McHugh. She was predeceased by her brother, John Wisgo, Sister Margaret Otfinoski and Granddaughter Loreen Lee.
In honor of Millie's wishes, there are no calling hours, and burial will be private and at the convenience of the family, burial will be in the Calvary Cemetery, Middletown. Those who wish may send memorial contributions to: Parkinson Foundation, 1501 North West 9th Ave., Miami, FL 33136. Cards of sympathy may be sent to 121 Highland Ave., Middletown CT. 06457.
