Murray Wachman

Murray (Moshe) Wachman, 90, of Storrs, passed away peacefully on September 29, 2021, 23 Tishrei 5782. Murray was born in Tel-Aviv on February 1, 1931. He emigrated with his family in 1941 and grew up in Brooklyn, NY. Murray was married to Helene Leibowitz, A"H, who predeceased him after a beautiful marriage of 50 years. Murray served as a Professor of Mathematics at UCONN in Storrs for thirty years. His first and foremost love was his family and friends who delighted in his kindness, patience, warmth, excellent advice, and deep intelligence. He is survived by his brother, Dr. Amnon Wachman, and sister, Mrs. Dahlia Matlin; his children, Elliot, Ronald, and Adina Anflick; and seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
