Nancy C. Devin

1941 - 2019

Nancy Carol (Donadio) Devin, 78, of Windsor Locks, passed away on Saturday, September 28, 2019 at her home, surrounded by loved ones. Born July 23, 1941 in Hartford to the late William and Helen (Melillo) Donadio, she was the beloved wife of Lee Devin, whom she missed dearly every day after his death in October 2015. Nancy was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and aunt. She took great pride in the accomplishments of her grandchildren. Her family meant everything to her and she meant everything to her family. She will be missed beyond words. She is survived by her daughter, Donna-Lee Husic and her husband William of Glastonbury; her son, Michael Devin and his wife Melissa of Baiting Hollow, NY; her four grandchildren, Brooke, William, Alyssa, and Elannah; her sister, Genie McDonald and her husband Gene; her brother, Anthony Donadio; her nephews, Michael McDonald and his wife Kelli, and Craig McDonald and his wife Becky; two great nephews, Michael and Anthony; a great niece, Giulia; and former daughter-in-law, Laurie Devin, whose help and compassion in Nancy's finals days were a great comfort to Nancy and the family. She is also survived by a brother, Nicholas Donadio and his wife Lucille; two step grandsons, Ethan and Spencer; and several nieces and nephews. Her family will receive friends on Monday, October 7, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at St. Dunstan Church, 1345 Manchester Rd., Glastonbury, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Mount St. Benedict Cemetery, Bloomfield.
