To the Defelice family I send my condolences. I will be praying for him and all of you. I played at Xavier and he was my line coach, but he was more than that to me. He was such an inspiration and throughout my life a constant friend. I have so much to say but can´t fit it all here. I love him and will miss him greatly. With love and respect Paul Maturo

My deepest condolences to Doris and family. My Mom always said it was the best job she ever had working for Nick. So kind to me growing up. I know my Mom was part of the gang who greeted him when he went through heavens gate.

In loving memory of Big Nick. He touched so many lives each and every day. He touched my live as a kid growing up in North Branford, as my OL coach At Xavier, as an young adult growing into a man. Thinking of Big Nick brings a smile and chuckle. Great memories to be cherished a lifetime. I love and I will miss the Big Guy

Working for Nick and traveling with him and Dick was the most fun anyone person could have. Nick telling the GPS lady she's wrong every where we went. He was a great boss and Nick and Doris celebrated my anniversary with my husband was a memory I will never forget.

Nick played at Derby High School and at Miami (Fla.) before he transferred to Southern Connecticut State University. One of his Derby teammates was Bobby Madgic who was a three-sport athlete at Amherst (Mass.).

Our sincere condolences to the DeFelice family. Jimmy & I have a cottage almost right behind Nick and Doris at WSB. I last saw Nick when he & Doris were painting their shed in their backyard. A meeting of the minds was taking place as to the right way to do the job. I laughed as they reminded me of Jimmy and I trying to get a project done.

Nick was a true gentleman in every respect. If he was together with his side-kick Larry McHugh, it was going to be a fun evening. May God Bless You, Nick !
