Dear Gale, we are so sorry for your loss. Nick will be missed dearly by his congregation at Sanibel. When we think of Nick, we remember many happy years on Sanibel sitting around the pool talking, telling jokes and mostly of laughter. We have many happy and wonderful memories of dinners, hot tubs and toasting everyone we could think of and the twinkle that was always present in Nick's eyes. Our fondest memories of Nick is starting on the day after arrival at Sanibel, we could count on finding Nick at poolside, sitting in the sun (starting his sunburn) with his arms folded across his tummy and saying "Where have you guys been, I've been here since 6:30", midday memory was always "the gravy is on". We felt so bad we couldn't get up to Connecticut to see him! You and Nick will be in our prayers.

Love Dave and Ruth

Dear Gale:

It is so difficult to find the right words to express how saddened we are by Nick's passing. We always enjoyed his company so much whether it was chatting poolside, those great pasta dinners at your place, or at the Lazy Flamingo for oysters and the like.

Our yearly Sanibel visit will not be the same without Nick's great sense of humor and outgoing social nature. We will miss him very much and he will be in our prayers.

We will be thinking of you and hope to see you soon.

Looking for Nicky at Sanibel was the first thing we did after checking in every year. He would be holding court under the umbrella at a corner of the pool. Different friends would gather each day while he shared stories from his past and his family. Nick Capasso was one of his biggest admirers, and I do hope they are together now. We shall miss him so very much, and cherish the friendship that we enjoyed with him over the years. I speak for my children too that have known Nicky and in particular my granddaughter Allison

To The Fandacone Family

We have known Marc for a very long time because of his friendship with my son, John Hamilton. Because of that we would like to extend our deepest sympathies to your family in this time of sorrow.

Marc was there to comfort me and my family when my father died and I would like to return the respect.

Nick will be in our thoughts and prayers.

Sincerely,

Louie & Chris Lombardo

Dear Gayle:

There are no words to express the deep feelings in our hearts when we heard about Nicky. We know it was God's will and Nicky is in a much better place, but it doesn't make it any easier to bear the sorrow you have now.

Moe and I have prayed for you both, especially for you, asking the Lord to be especially attentive to you in your time of need, and to be with you to hold you up and comfort you in His arms.

There's just no way to express our feelings except that our feelings are a little deeper and a little sadder because we have "shared" a lot of the same burden. You will be in our prayers always and so will Nicky.

In deepest sympathy,

Bobbi and Moe
