Nilsa Arizmendi Obituary
Nilsa H. Arizmendi, 33 of Hartford, CT known to the family as "Coco" went to be with the lord in July 2003. Nilsa was born on January 29, 1970 in Patchogue, Long Island to Carmen Arizmendi and the late Angel Rodriguez. Nilsa is survived by her mother Carmen Arizmendi and step father Edwin Santiago Sr. Her four children whom she loved dearly, Natasha, Joshua, Julieannie and Joel. She leaves four grandchildren. She also leaves behind three siblings: Brenda, Mary and Edwin Jr. along with a son-in-law Omar. Brothers-in-law Jorge and William, four nephews and two nieces with aunts, uncles and cousins in CT, NY, NJ, PR. Nilsa was a very special woman in life and special to our family. She was loved and has been profoundly missed. Services will be held on Saturday June 27, 2015 at 10:00 am with a calling hour at 9:00 am at Henry Fuqua Funeral Service 94 Granby St. Bloomfield, CT. Her final resting place will be at Mt. St. Benedict Cemetery in Bloomfield. In lieu of flowers donations may be sent to Hogar Crea Center , 33 Center St. Hartford, CT

Naty, Mary and family, I'm thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort. Nilsa was such a beautiful person in and out and every time we saw her she was smiling. I know I can't make your pain go away, but I want you to know I'm here with a shoulder or an ear or anything else you may need. We have known each other since we were about 6 years old more or less like family. Nilsa will always be remembered, always in our hearts. May God walk you through this closure you all yearned for.
