It was a pleasure to know Noritake; he was a part of Copernicus from my earliest days teaching there. Barry, BMS

Working at the computer lab in Copernicus you would alway see Noritake getting prepared for his classes working extremely hard. I always loved seeing him, he would greet me with a smile and a wave. He was my buddy that I truly enjoyed seeing. You will be missed Noritake. I'm honored I got to meet you.

I do not think I will ever meet a person so absolutely appreciative of the ability to learn than Noritake. I am so happy to have had the opportunity to be in the classroom with him, as a peer and instructor. The BMS department will miss him dearly. Rest peacefully, Noritake. May we all learn from you to take advantage of our opportunities the way you did.

Noritake was a fixture in the Biomolecular Science Program. It was not a normal day, unless Noritake was there in the conference room, with his pile of journal articles. Always reading, always learning. Every student knew him! Such an interest in learning--what an inspiration!

As a faculty member in Biomolecular Sciences I had the pleasure of teaching NOritake in my first semester at CCSU. He was eternally gracious and eager to learn. Our students loved him and I vividly remember a standing ovation for him in a presentation he did in a summer session at 92. He was a treasure and we all truly appreciated his contributions to our Department.
