Omar "Poppy" Joshua Lawrence, 17, of Hartford, CT passed away in a tragic car accident on Tower Ave on Saturday January 9th, 2021. He was born on February 4th, 2003 in Hartford CT, the loving son of Keimele Lawrence and Reynold Archer. He was a life long resident of Hartford, CT but had deep Jamaican roots. Omar was currently attending Greater Hartford Academy of the Arts where he was a senior and was set to graduate this up coming June. He was loved by a lot of individuals in the school not only students but also staff members. Omar's smile would literally light up a classroom. He was really a class clown. Omar's dream was to graduate and buy a big house with lots of cars and a sound system. Besides Omar loving and devoted mother & father he leaves behind his sisters Neisha Palmer, Brianna Lugg, Paula Lawrence, Ahlexus Raffington , Anasha Archer and Brianna Archer , his brothers Ishmeal Archer and Paul Archer and 5 other siblings. His beloved nieces Key'Mani, & Kay'Lani and his nephews Jahvanni and Aidyn. Also, his son Omar Jr who he loved dearly. His grandmother Maybeth Lawrence and grandfather Owen Lawrence. Along with a lot of aunts, uncles especially Horatio "Jam Jam" Palmer and cousins that resides in Jamaica. He also leaves the mother of Omar Jr., Alexia Shade and a host of family, friends and ladies.
