Paul Edward Roderick

Paul Edward Roderick, 71, of Willington, CT, passed away unexpectedly on March 26, 2018 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. Paul was born August 5, 1946, in Lewiston, ME To Bertha and Theodore Roderick. Paul developed a love for truck driving when he was 16 and continued driving his entire life. Paul enjoyed life on the road and the ability to explore the U.S.. Paul was one of a kind, and all that knew him would describe him as stubborn and a man who often spoke his mind. Even with that said, Paul positively impacted every one he met, teaching many things to many people. Paul was a devoted and loving husband of 29 years to his wife Karen Roderick, whom he taught to drive trucks. They spent their early years together running teams across the U.S. Paul was a loving father and is survived by his children and sons-in-laws. Ashley Roderick(28) and Frederico Davis(35), of Chaplin, CT. Heather (Youngest) Roderick(26) and Luis Ramos, of Willington CT. Paul's other pride and joy were his grandchildren Isaiah (6) and Haylee(4), as well as, daughter Carrie Roderick (47) of Deltona FL. There will be a memorial service in honor of Paul on April 8, 2018, at the Willington Public Library from 2-4pm. Please come dressed causally, as he was a jeans and t-shirt kind of man.
