Peter Gravelle

On the Evening of Thursday, September 22nd, Peter Anthony Gravelle, 59, of Plymouth, MA was called to serve as an Angel. Peter was born on September 18th, 1963, in Fitchburg MA, the oldest son of Peter Wayne and Mary Angela Gravelle. Peter proudly worked various jobs throughout his lifetime but enjoyed a fruitful career in Mortgage Banking for over 20 years. He was married to Kathleen A Gravelle of West Hartford, and together they moved to Monroe, CT where they raised their 3 children, Patrick, Mary Catherine (Catey), and Connor all of whom he was extremely proud of. Peter was well known for his infectious smile, his unmistakable Massachusetts accent, and his kind hearted nature. He illuminated every room with his exuberant energy! He was an avid sports fan of all things Boston and New England. Throughout his lifetime he maintained a deep love for the guitar and music, a passion that connected him with numerous people wherever he traveled. Peter is survived by his three loving children and parents as well as his siblings and their (spouses) Diane (Jeff) Lipes of Glastonbury, CT, David (Donna) Gravelle of Plymouth, MA, and Jason (Trish) of Braintree, MA. Additionally, he is survived by his nieces and nephews each of whose life he impacted greatly: Sarah Lipes, Jennifer Lipes, Christopher Gravelle, Tyler Gravelle, Alex Gravelle, Kimberly (Lipes) DaRos, Kevin Gravelle, Payton Gravelle, and Jacqueline Gravelle. The Family invites all those who would like to pay their respects and celebrate the life of Peter to join us for calling hours on Sunday October 2 from 2:00pm-4:00pm at Brandon Funeral Home, 305 Wanoosnoc Rd, Fitchburg, Ma. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Monday October 3rd at 10:00am at St. Anthony of Padua Church, 84 Salem St., Fitchburg, MA.
