Phyllis F. Coughlin

COUGHLIN, Phyllis F. (Frank) Phyllis F. (Frank) Coughlin, 90, of Bristol, widow of John J. Coughlin, died on Sunday (November 4, 2007) at Bristol Hospital. Mrs. Coughlin was born on July 30, 1917 in Hartford and was a daughter of the late Michael and Camilla (Piccolo) Frank. She lived in Hartford before moving to Bristol in 1947 and she worked in the advertising department of Aetna in Hartford before retiring. She was a member of St. Matthew Church, Forestville. Mrs. Coughlin is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Peter and Shirley Coughlin of Terryville; a daughter and son-in-law, Judith and Allan Plourde of Bristol; a brother, Ralph Frank of Dunedin, FL; a sister, Theresa Stimpson of Wethersfield; five grandchildren, Thomas Coughlin, Kelly Shea, Jason, Matthew, and Michael Plourde; six great-grandchildren, Kelsey, Abigail, and Brigid Shea, Maible and Aliza Coughlin, and Jack and Katie Plourde; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday, November 9 at 10:30 a.m. from Funk Funeral Home, 35 Bellevue Ave., Bristol, to St. Matthew Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Forestville Cemetery.
