Rafael Sierra, 65, of Hartford, CT, skidded into heaven on Sunday, Oct 30, 2016 at 9:00am in Autumn Lake Healthcare, New Britain CT, following a brief illness. Born and raised in Caguas, PR., the son of Asuncion Sierra and Delfina Hernandez. He is survived by his wife of 40 years Yolanda Melendez Sierra, 4 biological children, Gina Sierra, Rafael Sierra Jr., Angelia Sierra, Omar Sierra and 4 children whom he raised Edgardo Santiago, Maria Carrasquillo, Miguel Carrasquillo and Oscar Carrasquillo. Also leaving behind his 2 sisters, Maria Flores from Hartford, CT, and Brigidad Sierra from Cape Coral, FL. Along with grandchildren, nieces, nephews and a few close friends. You will be forever missed "El Jefe". Love Always, your family. Funeral Services will be held Friday, November 4th, 2016 from 5pm to 9pm at Deleon Funeral Home 104 Main St., Hartford Ct 06106.
