Today marks a year - it's hard to believe that a year has gone by since you've passed. The grieving process hasn't been easy. We're doing our best to take our pain and turn it into something beautiful - something that honors you. We're filled with gratitude for having known and been loved by a soul as loving as yours. Although you are no longer physically with us, we continue to feel surrounded by your love. Your love shows up in the most surprising and wonderful ways - from a poem offered by a stranger to a red-tail hawk in the garden. And when we miss you the most, it's as if we can hear your voice encouraging us and telling us how much you love us - your love lives on in us. You are forever in our hearts.
