POTTER, Raymond E.
Raymond Everett Potter, 82, of Cromwell, husband of Leslie (Leffingwell) Potter, passed away on Tuesday, March 12th at Hartford Hospital surrounded by his loving family. Born in Windham, he was the son of the late Everett and Rosetta (Albro) Potter. Raymond was a decorated veteran serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was an avid stamp collector, loved reading, travelling, bird watching, and spending time with family. Along with his wife, Raymond is survived by two sons, James N. Potter and his wife, Debra and Steven L. Potter and his wife, Catherine, all of Cromwell; a daughter, Gale P. DiLuzio and her husband, Michael of Cromwell; two brothers, Donald Potter of Windham Center and Charles Potter of Occum; and eight grandchildren, Kelly Potter, Timothy Potter, Christopher Potter and his wife, Stefanie, Daniel Potter, Nicholas Misseri, Jennifer Misseri, Michelle DiLuzio and Joseph DiLuzio.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, March 15th at 10 a.m. at the Cromwell Funeral Home, 506 Main Street, Cromwell. Burial will be at the convenience of the family. There will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, friends may make donations in Raymond's memory to American Heart Association, 5 Brookside Drive, Wallingford, CT 06492 and may send messages of condolence to the family at www.doolittlefuneralservice.com.
