We first met Rene when he started remodeling the house on Aborn Road. He was always friendly and stopped many times to talk on his way out.
Rene and I had many converstations at the beach while he sat on the dock with his feet in the water.

Our hearts and prayers go out to you at this very sad time. Rene was more then our son's father in-law. Rene was a special friend with his quite manner, sense of humor and great smile. We always enjoyed our visit either at your place or ours and we know Rene enjoyed riding around the lake on the pontoon boat. May God give you the faith, courage, strength, and peace of heart now and always

I first met Rene while he was working for AT&T and I for The Hartford. Rene and I formed a bond that lasted for many years. Rene was so much fun and I can still remember all of the times the his co-workers at AT&T and I got him into trouble. Rene had a wonderful sense of humor and also a great sense of responsibility to me as a customer as well as to his company. I can still fondly remember the baseball games we attended as a large group and the mischief we were constantly getting in to, especially with his friends Jack and Bill. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. He was never afraid to tackle a large job. His children were definitely the apple of his eye and he never ceased praising them.
Rest well Rene
Your longtime friend, Mike
