I don't think my cousin Skippy had one enemy in this world.
He was the perfect gentleman. He always cared for others more than himself. I remember him always visiting my mom when she was ill.If you wanted to be with someone who always had a positive outlook to life..it would be him you would choose. I love him dearly. Rest in peace cousin. Love Peachy

Rich Fiore was one of the finest men I have ever met. He was my Computer Science teacher at East Haven High School, I met him in 1981. Rich helped to shape my life and my career, if it weren't for him I don't believe I would be experiencing the success I enjoy today. GOD has brought home one of the finest examples of a man to live on this earth. Rest in peace Rich and my condelances to your family.

I am very sorry to hear of Rich's passing. I first met Rich as a student teacher 37 years ago at East Haven HS where he was my Master Teacher. I later met him at GWCC where I worked as part time lecturer. Here I sought his advice on many occasions. He will truly be missed not only as a fellow educator but as a good friend. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.

Dear Skip,
So God has blown your candle out--
He has re-lit its light, no doubt--

A heavens' star He made of thee.

To My Dear Family,
My earliest memory of Skippy is also one of my fondest. A thoughtful and generous man to his core, Skippy took much time and patience to tutor me in Chemistry. He shared his passion for science and inspired others to do the same.
Skippy had a contagious laugh that he shared often. I will cherish my memories of this kind and loving man forever.

I wish now that I had been more diligent about visiting Richie. I knew him and Tony at UConn; they were two of the nicest people I had met there. We had fun. I think the story I like the most and remember most about the Fiore boys was the all-you-can-eat spaghetti dinner at some hotel restaurant in Willimantic. Richie and Tony practically put them out of business. My heart goes out to the Fiore family. Richie was one of the best.

Rich, so sorry to hear about your dad. Still remember in junior high when I went with you and your dad to the civic center to see the Celtics exhibition game. Just seemed like a really nice guy. Prayers to your family.

Dear Theresa, Christopher, Magen, Richard and Melissa, we were especially saddened to hear about Skippy's passing. They say the good die young and Skip's death is a testimony to that. The first time I met Rich was at Michael's wedding and Skip was walking around taking pictures of everyone. He took our photo and asked me for an email address. Within a few days, I received the photo with a nice email. He was a gentle soul and a thoughtful, smart, warm, wonderful man. Grieve your loss and condemn fate. There is no such thing as closure. You are all in our thoughts and prayers.
Love, Diane and Mark
