To me,Dick Galiette was one of the all time greats in the wide world of sport. I was honored when he served as the Master of Ceremonies for my induction to the National Hall of Fame in Las Vegas. In addition, I was honored to call Dick a long time friend ... All who knew him, will definitely miss him. He was a jewel in the tiara of the crown of sports.

I'm deeply sorry. Dick and I were good friends and played football together at Lewis High School. I was shocked when I saw the news of his passing on Fox News here.
