Richard C. Jones

Richard C. Jones, 68, of Windsor Locks, beloved husband of Mariann (Callahan) Jones, passed away on Monday, September 4, 2023 at Hartford Hospital. Born in Hartford, CT on January 11, 1955, he was the son of the late Richard C. Jones and Kathleen (Sullivan) Reese and grew up in Hartford, eventually settling in Windsor Locks 23 years ago. Rick loved music and was an accomplished guitar player.

Besides his wife Mariann Jones and his mother Kathleen Reese, he is survived by 3 children, Christina Corsetti and her husband Brian, Stacy Falk and her husband Kenneth, and Richard Jones and his wife Brittany; 3 step-children, Melisa Kupstas and her husband Greg, Kimberly VanDine, and Sara Gintick; 16 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; his brother, Gordon Jones; 3 sisters, Denise, Kathy, and Ann Jones; his step-brothers Rodney and Raymond; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his step-son, Steven Gintick, his step-grandson, Ryan Dowling, and his brother Ron Jones. His family will receive friends on Monday, September 25, from 5-7 PM at Windsor Locks Funeral Home, 441 Spring St., Windsor Locks. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, September 26, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Church, 42 Spring St., Windsor Locks. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
