Richard Andrew Kruk, 57, of Plainville, beloved husband for 18 years of Kathleen (Tomcic) Kruk, passed away unexpectedly at his home on Wednesday, November 15, 2023. Born in Hartford on May 27, 1966, son of Jadwiga (Downar) Kruk of Murfreesboro, TN and the late Anthony S. Kruk, Jr., he was raised in Hartford and was a graduate of Bulkeley High School. After high school, Richard continued his education and studied to be an automotive mechanic. For the past 28 years, Richard worked at Copart in New Britain where he was a forklift driver. In addition to his wife, Kathleen and his mother, Jadwiga, he leaves a daughter, Tami Kruk; a sister, Joanna Paneccasio of Murphreesboro, TN; a nephew, Nicholas Anthony Paneccasio; a niece, Alyssa Panneccasio; and two stepsons, Thomas and John Garuti. His family will receive friends on Monday, November 20, 9:30-10:30 a.m., at the Waszkelewicz South Green Memorial Home, 43 Wethersfield Ave., Hartford. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 a.m., at SS. Cyril & Methodius Church, 63 Popieluszko Court, Hartford.
