Well, three years has come and passed and I still cannot get used to the idea that you are not here to talk to and laugh with anymore. I miss you with all my heart and soul. I haven't seen Ricky in decades, yet it appears when I read through all the comments he never changed. He was a wonderful young man. I have many happy memories of spending lazy summer days playing "king of the raft" or volleyball. Ricky's pictures is imprinted in all of them. I only recently found out about Rick's passing. I am saddened and wish to extend my heartfelt sympathies to his family and friends. I have countless fond memories of high school with Rick. While we did not stay in close contact after school I was always impressed by him and considered him my friend. I still do.

To The Family, I was very shocked and saddened to hear of Ricky's passing. He was always so pleasant, funny, polite and respectful to me and my son the 25 years I lived in Colchester. I remember Rick, David, Lisa, and Laurie as young children on the beach when my children were young. I remember when David had a broken leg and Rick was the big brother. I have always enjoyed talking to Rick during the summer whenever i saw him. It was always nice to see him and the smile on his face. Bless you all

Rick is someone that will be missed greatly at Lake Hayward. He was always fun to be around from the time we were kids. Rick was a gentleman who treated everyone with respect. The Lake Hayward community will be different without having him around.

Sal and I lived at the Lake throughout much of high school. I remember Ricky being one of the kindest kids I knew back then. He was sweet and gentle and protective of us when some of the other kids were not so kind. We'll always remember him as someone who made us feel welcomed and not like outsiders. my whole life ive known ricky. ive known him as a big teddy bear with a heart of gold. hes gone out of the way to help anyone in any way he could. hes helped me through everything whether it was fixing tractors, problems that ive had, or even just to help make me feel better. he always kept me in line and helped me when i got in trouble. he helped me steer my life in the right direction. Ricky has always treated me like if i was his son and throughout my life ive grown to love and care for him with all my heart. he has been like a father to me in so many ways that i sometimes cant explain. he always taught me right from wrong.i will miss going to the vegetable stand everyday during the summer just to talk with him for an hour or so and i will miss his heartwarming smile every time i see him. i pray for him on a safe and health journey through heaven. Dear David, Lisa, Laurie, Mr. and Mrs. LaFlamme
my only memories of Ricky were from my childhood and teens. I remember him as a being much kinder and gentler than his impressive size would convey. He never treated me as the friend of a little brother but rather as a friend. I was never privy to anything except a cheerful outlook and nice guy, even though I was "summer people". I haven't seen him or any of you in several years, but when I think of him (and all of you) I recall endless sunny summer days, swimming and fishing, the smell of freshly mowed lawns, and someone who would never snitch on us.

When I moved to the lake Rick was just 16 yrs. old, I watched him grow {and grow} into the wonderful man he became. Later...he watched as our boys as they grew into men.He always had words of extreme wisdom that he took the time to share with Jay and Trav.{or he would have to tell thier mom}.I think they listened by the way they respected and loved Ricky.
To us Rick is family. He will be missed and remembered with love.
Rick deserves the peace and comfort that only heaven can provide for him now.

This is probably one of the few time that I have referred to you as Rick.
