I just want to say that seeing you all last night reminded me of all the good times we all had. I remember how we would all be together and have hours of laughing and just great freiendship. Amazed at how beautiful and handsome all the kids are. You are so blessed. I am so sorry for your loss and I know that there are no words right now that will comfort you or help you understand why. But remember all the good that he accomplished as a husband, father, son, brother, granddad and friend. It will be those moments that will help you through this difficult time. To the Murzin Family,
We are so sad to learn of Richard's sudden and far too soon passing. Richie and Peter were childhood friends who never forgot how much fun it was playing soldiers and getting into innocent mischief. He is a great man and will sadly be missed. We thank him for his service to our country, and for protecting the streets of Hartford for as long as he did. Our Adelaide Street home was always more fun when Richie was there to hang out with all the kids. God Bless you all and may God comfort your broken hearts. You are all in our prayers. Love,

My most sincere condolences to the entire MURZIN family. Richie was a dedicated and respected law enforcement officer who always did the RIGHT THING. He could be counted on to have your back. He had a unique sense of humor which I will always remember. May he rest in peace.

"Dicky Murzin" was my childhood friend. He lived on the corner of South St. and Becket, and I lived around the corner on Brown St. I remember hanging out with him and his wonderful family, esp. his siblings, Julie and Dommy. I have memories of tutoring Dicky in arithmatic in junior high when we both attended St. Augustine's School.
My brother, Richard, and I are so sorry to read of Richard's untimely passing. Our prayers are with all of you.
