Richard was such a cool guy. He made my frightful return back to Old Saybrook much easier to take by bringing his intellect to the soda fountain. He inspired me to write and to think deeper and to challenge convention. The world will miss out on the gifts he shared so generously. My prayers go out to his wonderful family.
