Robert A. Bickford, Jr., 75, of Tolland, CT passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2019. He was born on November 18, 1943 in Kittery, Maine to the late Hester and Robert Bickford, Sr. He was the beloved husband to Beverly Bickford for 48 years. He loved spending time with his family, especially with his grandchildren. As a longtime finish carpenter, Robert enjoyed any project involving woodworking and fine detail. He was a perfectionist. Robert left his personal touch by building unique pieces of furniture for his home. Robert also enjoyed building model airplanes and was a member of the model airplane association. A quiet passion of Robert's was spending time in his yard, feeding the birds, and watching nature in all forms. In addition to his wife Beverly, he is survived by his daughters, Kelley Greenwald and her husband Russell, Heidi Parzych and her husband Frank, his grandchildren Ridley, Rio and Gavin, his sisters Gloria Hutchinson and Cyndi Surette and husband Greg, his sister-in-law Cindy Yuknewicz and husband Bill, and several nieces and nephews.
