Robert Perkins Kinne III

1985 - 2014

Robert Perkins Kinne, III, 29, of Manchester, CT passed away unexpectedly Saturday Dec. 20, 2014. Robert was born in Manchester on May 6, 1985, and was raised in Coventry. He was a graduate of Coventry High School, Class of 2003, and attended Porter and Chester Institute for automotive training. He had a passion for cars and was an accomplished ASE Certified Automotive Technician. Robert was employed for over 9 years by Firestone Complete Auto Care in Enfield, Vernon, and Manchester. Rob was a talented sportsman who enjoyed competitive handgun shooting, short track racing and pool. He was an incredible cook and loved playing cards. He is survived by his father, Robert Perkins Kinne, Jr. of Coventry; his mother and stepfather, Tracy (Johnson) and James B. Newmark of Manchester; and his paternal grandmother, Alice Mae Kinne of Mansfield. In addition he is survived by his sister Jennifer Bordieri and her husband Joseph of Portland; his stepbrothers, David Newmark and wife, Judith of Milford, MA and Brian Newmark of Prospect; his stepsister Cathleen Newmark and her fiancé, Darnell Hofler of Waterbury. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and friends. Robert was predeceased by his paternal grandfather, Robert Perkins Kinne, Sr. and his maternal grandparents, Helen and Charles Johnson. Calling hours are from 9 to 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, 371 Wolcott Hill Road, Wethersfield, on Saturday, December 27, 2014, immediately followed by a memorial service. Burial will follow at Rose Hill Cemetery, 580 Elm Street, Rocky Hill.
