Robert T. Pfeffer, 56, of Tolland, Connecticut died on Dec 10, 2018. Beloved husband of Emilia "Amy" (née Molino). Loving father of Kyle William. Dear son of William J. and Sara B (née Quigley). Beloved brother of the late William T (the late Maureen), Thomas R (Donna), Marian K. Pfeffer, Joan M. (Curt) Byerley. Robert is also lovingly survived by nieces and nephews. Born in Collingswood, NJ. Bobby was a 1981 graduate of Collingswood High School. Upon graduation he enlisted, serving 4 years in the US Air Force as a Senior Airman, and later as Sgt. for Pennsylvania Air National Guard. He had a long career in Telecommunications - MCI, Northern Telecom, and Blackbox Network Services. Bob moved to Middletown, CT in 1991 where he met his wife Amy. The family moved to Tolland, CT. Bob was devoted to his family and enjoyed attending Kyle's sporting events. Bob was also a parishioner of St. Matthews Church in Tolland, CT. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Saturday, December 15th for a memorial Mass at 1:00 PM at St Matthews Church, 111 Tolland Green, Tolland, CT. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in his memory to American Heart Assoc. www.heart.org. The John F. Tierney Funeral Home, Manchester has care of the arrangements. I am so sorry to hear of Bobs passing. I worked with Bob for a number of years in the Telecom trade and echo Paul Busas sentiments. There was none better than Bob if you needed support, help or guidance with a technical issue. His talent and diligence enabled many a business to get back up and into operation and many a tech to be able to move on and wrap up.

I was also fortunate to have been deployed to the field with Bob as we served together with the UASF/602nd TCS.

Bob will always be remembered as a terrific person. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and loved ones.

Worked with Bob for many years. His was the voice you wanted to hear on the other end of the line when calling in for support. His knowledge and relentless drive enabled me to get home in time and enjoy my family countless times. He never had a bad word to say about anyone and had a great dry wit and sense of humor. He was among the best in the business yet as humble as they come..

Me and Bobby used to hang out n Kindergarten. I spent visited Bobby at his home on Christmas day when i was in Kindergarten . Later we spent much time hanging out mostly around our neighborghood outside.

Bobby was my best friend in high school and best man at my wedding.
I will always hold on to the many fun and great times we had together.

Kind hearted, friendly and a great person to hang out with. I wish my sincere condolences to his wife and son, and the entire Pfeiffer family

Its truly a sad day, Bob was a great man, father and Husband. I had the pleasure of working with him for 25 plus years and he had the respect of everyone he ever worked with. My prayers go out to his family for this terrible loss. God Speed Bob!!! RIP

Really sad to hear of Bobs passing . My condolences to his family . I worked with Bob at Nortel in Philadelphia in the 80's . He was a good man and a lot of fun to hang with , we always had a great time.
