Robert Ripolone Obituary

RIPOLONE, Robert A. Robert A. Ripolone, 60, of Hartford, entered into the Lord's embrace Monday (February 23, 2009). Born in Hartford, he was son of the late Anthony and Helen (Saczawa) Ripolone, and lived there all of his life, graduating from St. Augustine School in 1962 and South Catholic High School in 1966, later earning his degree from the University of Hartford. Bob worked for many years at the Hartford Courant and then with the Connecticut State Labor Dept. He was a member of the Sons of Italy, Ella Grasso Lodge, a former member of the Hartford Police Italian Officers Assoc, and was a life long Communicant of St. Augustine Church. Bob leaves his several aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral Services will be held Thursday, February 26, at 9:30 a.m. from the Farley-Sullivan Funeral Home, 34 Beaver Rd, Wethersfield, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 a.m. in St Augustine Church, 10 Campfield Ave, Hartford. Burial will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, 453 Fairfield Ave, Hartford. Friends and relatives may call on the family Thursday morning between 8:30-9:30 a.m.
