Robin Hester Obituary
Robin was a comedian at heart. So funny and full of life. She made everyone laugh and enjoy themselves. If you needed a positive word, she would give it to you. She loved comedy shows and had a dream of becoming a Comedian. She enjoyed vacationing, partying with family and friends.
Left to cherish her memory is her sister, Shelby Young; brother, Larry Young (Kathy Young) and her nieces Shanice Miller, Brittany Young and nephews Brandon Young and Dion Young, great niece Symphoni Thomas. She was predeceased by her three brothers William (Ricky) Young, Dermot Young, Jr and Christian Young.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Cash App $YoungHomeRoots nonprofit. The Young Family will be hosting a Celebration of Life for Robin on Friday, March 17th, 2023 from 1-5pm at Vibz UpTown, 3155 Main St, Hartford, CT 06120.

My heart is broken because I just found out you left us , you were a breath of fresh air and a pure sunshine. I will always remember how you made me laugh. I´m going to truly miss you and it hurts that we didn´t get to see each other for more laughs. You will always be remembered for your beautiful smile and awesome personality. I just found out that your gone to a better place. I had been thinking about you. I always remember the times we were together enjoying our life. We had so much fun together. We worked late hours at City Hall. We shared tears together. We put the kids in the room at the house Kent St and be listening to music. You call them your God children. When my youngest son got hurt at school you gave me your car to taken him to the doctor he had to have stitches. We were always doing something. You will sure be missed but you will always be in my heart. Love you my sister. R.I.P my prayers to the family as well.

My you all keep your memories in your hearts. Robiinnn my friend I truly miss you and I was so glad I saw you before you got your wings. I will always remember the times we had shared together like day trip, vacationing, happy hours, going out to eat or just talking over the phones. I was so sad to see Robons passing. I worked her for many years at that the city of Hartford and she was made my job so fun! I enjoyed working with her, and being in her company! I am so sorry to hear of Robin's passing and even though i have not seen her since BHS 1984, I have always remembered her as being the one to always bring a cheer, smile and laughter to all of her classmates. I do know for a fact, Robin has everyone in heaven laughing and smiling with tears of joy. RIP classmate.
