Dear Filipski Family,
I was saddened to hear the news about the death of Ron Sr. He was truly a great man. Ron Sr. and the Filipski family have always been so giving to all of RJ's friends and my thoughts and prayers go out to the family in this difficult time.
My memories of Sr. will always be happy ones. In particular the best memory of Ron Sr. that I have is from the night he graciously took the Chicago crew out for dinner. As it was Oktoberfest and we were at a German restaurant (Zum Duchen Ek), he insisted that we all get the special German Feast. This feast not only included a wonderful array of sausages and beer, but also it entitled us to five silly little green hats which we all gladly wore during and after the meal. That night we had such a great time eating, drinking, and singing songs with the Umpa Band. One song I especially remember singing was Roll out the Barrel, and I still remember how happy Sr. and RJ were while we all sang that song together.
That night and how giving and kind Ron Sr. was as a man will be forever etched in my mid.

Roll out the barrel
We'll have a barrel of fun
Roll out the barrel
We've got the blues on the run.
Zing! Boom! Ta-ra-rel
Ring out a song of good cheer!
Now's the time to roll the barrel
For the gang's all here.

Bea and family,
I am so sorry to hear of Rons passing. I am sure he is in a better place without any pain and at peace. If you need anything, let me know. I also want to say that Helen and Tony were so proud of Ron. Family meant everything to them. May your memories comfort you and may he be forever in your hearts.
Our deepest condolences,
