Ronda Agostinucci Obituary

Ronda Jean (Agostini) Agostinucci , 58 years old, spouse of William Agostinucci for thirty-three years, ascended on October 24th, 2015, She was born in New Britain on August 1st, 1957 to Lillian and the late Ronald Agostini. She resided in Berlin. Ronda is survived by her husband William, her son Daniel and her daughter-in-love Andrea. She is also survived by her mother Lillian Agostini, Aunts Lorraine Rakowski , Lois Radavich, MaryAnn Agostini and Jean Malinowski, brother Ronald Jr. and MarySue Agostini, brother Peter Agostini, sister-in-law Rosemary Agostinucci and brother and sister-in-law Dr. Dominick Agostin and Marie Agostin. Ronda also has many nieces and nephews, Jeffrey Agostin and his wife MaryAnn, Michael Agostin and his wife Anne, Kevin Agostin, Marissa, Alex, Tyler, Sam and Benjamin Agostini. Ronda was a Physical Therapist, graduating from Quinnipiac College in 1979. She was co-owner of Valley Rehabilitation Center and practiced for over 35 years. Her specialty was TMJ therapy and she was considered one of the top therapists in the US. She taught at Quinnipiac in the Graduate Program for 16 years. Ronda was always rated highly as a professor and helped to shape the practice of many students. She formed a special relationship with her patients as well and many of them becoming friends after she retired. Ronda impacted the lives of many of her patients, often finding the best treatment option when people had lost any hope of recovery. She had special intuitive skills that transcended into her daily practice. Ronda also had a special relationship with the energy and people of Sedona Arizona where she had a second home. She introduced many of her family and friends to the area and built many lasting memories with each of them. She loved to hike the area and was affectionately called "Red Rock Ranger Ronda" for her knowledge of the area and her hiking skills. She formed close relationships with neighbors and friends in Arizona. Her goal was to approach her illness utilizing as many methods as possible to heal her mind, body and spirit. She found many of these in Sedona and traveled there often for healing. It was truly a gift to be a part of her experience and she shared it readily with everyone. She was also a fan of the Patriots and loved to watch football. She could be heard cheering loudly at home or at games. She attended SuperBowl 49 with her husband in Glendale, Arizona and had experienced a miracle win for the team. It was one of the highlights of her life. Her favorite saying after the game was "don't give up seconds before the miracle." She used that to help her in her journey. Ronda was fond of and owned several horses and entered many equestrian competitions. She won several ribbons in competition. She also developed a passion for faerie gardens and had built one at each of her residences, lovingly teaching others about them. Ronda's two best friends, Alisa Germaine and Holly Coulter were considered an inseparable trio since grade school. They grew up together and have a tight bond as friends. They supported her throughout this time and were part of the family, always finding time to help. She also has a large group of high-school friends who supported her during her illness, notably Peg and Frank Facciolo, MaryBeth and Mark McCarthy, Hank and Mary Matuszak, Ernie and Donna Pettinelli, and Vern and Sandy Pindar. There would often be celebrations to highlight a milestone in Ronda's treatment or just to enjoy each other's company. These were special moments that helped to keep Ronda's energy staying positive. This entire group went to Sedona, Arizona on vacation and all looked to Ronda to lead the group through the area. It was a memorable experience never forgotten and very supportive of Ronda's spirit. She approached every day by staying positive, thanking God for another day on this earth and doing her part to create the miracle. In a discussion with Deacon Joseph Kane she told him she was afraid to go to sleep because she did not know if she would wake up. He said " Ronda, you will always wake up, it just may not be here." This gave her great comfort over the last weeks of her life. She was deeply religious and inspired us all with her faith. Ronda felt she had a higher purpose on this earth. She had affected the lives of so many in a positive way and was always excited to meet new people and talk. As she would tell of her experiences, everyone came away feeling influenced by her energy, spirit and love. She will continue to serve her purpose from heaven. Ronda will forever be in our hearts and a part of our lives. Calling hours will be 5p-8p on Thursday October 29th at Farrell's Funeral Home, 110 Franklin Square, New Britain and again at 9am on Friday 10/30 at the funeral home. My sincere condolences to the Agostini/Agostinucci Family for your loss. Having learned of Ronda's passing just yesterday broke my heart. I, too, was touched by an angel named Ronda. Without Ronda, I would have suffered more extensive life-long permanent disabilities. Ronda fulfilled a mission on earth to heal mind, body and spirit and lives on in all our hearts. May God grant you strength through the love and support of family and friends.

With thanks and fond memories,

I am so sorry for your loss. I met Ronda over 18 years ago she was my Physical Therapist. I went to see her because she specialized in TMJ. We hit it off right away. Many of my therapy sessions were spent laughing and talking about life as she was fixing me :) When I heard of her passing I knew this world lost a truly special person.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Ronda was a wonderful woman and a good friend. She touched so many lives including mine and her memory will live on. She recently shared with me the phrase "not gonna quit seconds before the miracle...". Then she reminded me that "God is always with us guiding us as we go. HE is in charge; we do our best". You can't find another person with as much faith and fortitude as Ronda. We will miss you my friend! With deepest sympathy...

I was privileged to get to know Ronda through Dan, my son-in-law.I quickly learned that a very special woman was gifted to us.Her endless qualities were all wrapped into one tiny being. She was down to earth, kindhearted, spiritually connected, strong willed and will live on through us all for years to come.Bill, Dan, and Andrea, as difficult as it must have been, you were there until her physical end.She wouldn't have wanted it any other way.Your commitment, patience ,tolerance and love persevered and I believe she is eternally grateful. I feel honored to have had her in my life and saddened by her departure. May you rest in peace, light and love Ronda.
