Rose Slinchak Obituary

SLINCHAK, Rose (Perzan) Rose (Perzan) Slinchak, 84, of New Britain, died Tuesday,(April 21, 2004). She was born in New Britain and was the daughter of the late Joseph and Frances (Dygas) Perzan. Rose retired from Emhart Corporation, was a member of the Salvation Army Home League and member of the Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Her loving personality and warm smile will be missed by all who knew her. She was the widow of John Slinchak and is survived by two sons and a daughter-in-law, John "Jack" Slinchak of New Britain and Richard Slinchak and his wife, Pam of Vancover, WA. She is also survived by a sister Agnes Tanguay and her husband, Ray of Newington; two grandchildren; and dear nieces, Elaine, Joann, Noreen and Darleen and Karen Marie; a nephew, Ray Jr. She was predeceased by a sister, Pearl Kolodzej and two brothers, Joseph and Stanley Perzan. Funeral Services will be Saturday, April 24, at 9 a.m at New Britain Memorial-Sagarino Funeral Home, 444 Farmington Ave., New Britain followed by the funeral liturgy at 10 a.m. in Holy Trinity Byzantine Catholic Church. Burial will follow in St. Mary Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 5-8 p.m. at the funeral home (I-84, right off exit #37, 1 1/2 miles on right). Aunt Rose, we will miss you. Mark, Jacqueline, and Katherine so looked forward to seeing you each and every time we visited CT. Your lovely smile, warm caresses, and sense of humor will be missed during our future visits to CT. Even though you will not be there, we have fond memories in our hearts.

I want to give my condolances to Roses family.I've know Rose for at least 8 years and have loved her dearly.I will miss her and her beautiful loving face and voice.My life was much more richer by knowing her she brought a lot of love to everyone,never had an unkind word to say to anyone.She will be missed dearly but she is now in no pain at all. She is in heaven with our Father and Jesus they will hold her and take care of her now.And she will be watching out for all down here on earth.My prayers are with your family God Bless you all,keep God and Rose close to your hearts always,and remember how much they love you all.

I will always remember Rose as being a very sweet and loving person who would give you the shirt off her back if you needed it. I personally will miss her sweet voice and loving words. Rose you will be missed but never forgotten. I also want to express my condolenses to her family. Just remember she is home with her Father now and will be watching over you all. God Bless you all. And may He help you through your grief.

Our deepest sympathies go to cousins Jack and Richard. I remember Aunt Rose as a very loving and caring mother and Aunt. I also remember that she was always available to help the family in anyway she could. I will miss her but will remember her always.
