Rosemary I. Trykowski

Rosemary Irene (Ricci) Trykowski, 88, of Southington, Connecticut and Narragansett, Rhode Island passed away peacefully at Southington Care Center on Thursday, July 8, 2021. She was born on February 19, 1933 in Meriden, Connecticut daughter of the late George and Rose (Gioia) Ricci. Rosemary was the beloved wife of the late Edward Trykowski. Rosemary was educated in the Meriden Public School System and attended the University of Miami. She was an accountant for various small businesses in Meriden and the Tax Collector's Office of the City of Meriden. Later, Rosemary was an executive secretary to the Vice-President of Human Resources at Airpax Corporation/North American Philips. Rosemary was a member of the Mountain Grove Swim Club and the YMCA of Southington and enjoyed many activities such as swimming, tennis, crocheting, and knitting. She especially enjoyed travel and spending time at her home in Narragansett. Rosemary will be dearly missed by her family. She leaves behind her three sons Michael E. Trykowski of Brookline, Massachusetts, Thomas G.J. Trykowski and his husband Joseph M. Cacciola of Provincetown, MA and Sint Maarten, and David P. Trykowski and his wife Suzanne of Southington, and her treasured granddaughter Katherine A. Trykowski of New York, New York. She also leaves behind her long-time companion William J. Fiftal of Waterbury as well as many nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be Sunday, July 11, 2021 10AM-1PM at DellaVecchia Funeral Home, 211 N. Main St. Southington. Services begin at 9AM on Monday, July 12th at the funeral home, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 10AM at St. Dominic's Church, 1050 Flanders Rd. Southington.
