Sandra McConnell Obituary

Sandra Marie (Grahan) McConnell, 38, of Rockville died suddenly Tuesday, (January 29, 2002) at Rockville General Hospital. Sandra was born April 21, 1963, in Windham, daughter of Charles Grahan, II and the late Judith (Neff) Grahan, and was a resident of Rockville for the past eight years. Sandra was a member of St. Bernard's Church in Rockville. She loved her family and had a heart of gold. Sandra is survived by her husband, Alexander McConnell and their two children, Galen and Duncan McConnell, all of Rockville; her father, Charles Grahan, II, of Arkansas; her maternal grandmother, Bertha Neff, of Coventry; her mother-in-law, L.A. Buddy Messenger, of West Hartford; a brother, Charles Grahan, IV and his wife, Becky, of Florida; five sisters, Connie Grahan of Coventry, Bonnie Williams and her husband, Lenny, of Brooklyn, CT, Carla Brousseau and her husband, Scott, of Coventry, Kim Feeney and her husband, Sean, of Virginia, and Kathy Grahan of Arkansas; an aunt and uncle, Barbara Pease and Elmer Neff, both of Chaplin; eleven nieces; ten nephews; and many other relatives and friends. A funeral service wll be held Monday, February 4, 4 p.m. at the Coventry Funeral Home, 2665 Boston Turnpike, Rte. 44, Coventry. Burial will be in New Willimantic Cemetery. Calling hours will be Monday, February 4, 2-4 p.m., just prior to service. Memorial contributions may be made in Sandra's name to St. Bernard's Church, School St., Rockville, or the First Congregational Church of Coventry, Main St., Coventry, CT 06088.
