Scott J. Steadman

54, died Dec. 7th, 2017. Scott was a brilliant mind loved by family and friends for his great philosophical conversations. Scott led an adventurous life. He worked as a bike messenger in NYC and rode his bike through the United States, Canada, and Russia. After receiving his MS in Chemistry at Central Connecticut State University, he pursued a PhD fellowship at the University of Southern Mississippi in Polymer Science. In Hattiesburg, Scott is known as a legend for his pizza and for being a genius level engineer who could fix anything. In 2016, Scott volunteered for Red Cross Disaster Relief. He is predeceased by his mother Jane Marino Steadman. He is remembered with love by his wife Suzette Becker Steadman of Pennsylvania, his father Kenneth J Steadman of New Hartford, CT and his sisters and their husbands Karin and Kostas Tsiongas of Bristol, CT and Kathy and Seth Winkleman of Plainville, CT. He is survived by many uncles, aunts, nephews, and nieces and a host of long time friends. His spirit will be celebrated at an 11am mass on Dec. 29th at Our Lady of Mercy, Plainville, CT.
