Shelley Mongeau Goess, 63, of Rotonda West, FL passed away Saturday May 7, 2016 in Englewood, FL, She was born in Grand Island, NE to Dr. Donald and Irma (nee Freece) Mongeau. She graduated from high school in 1971 and Doane College in 1975. After moving to CT she was employed by the State of CT Judicial Department and retired as a supervisor after 30 years of dedicated service for the citizens of CT. She is survived by her husband: Warren D. Goess and her sister: Ann Mongeau. She is known by her family and friends as a good, kind, generous and loving person. Her passion was gardening and she loved all of God's creatures. Rest in peace Shell. Services were private. Arrangements by Englewood Community Funeral Home, Inc. with private crematory. Hi Warren,
I read of Shelley's passing online. I'm so sorry for your loss. She was far too young.

Warren , our thoughts are with you. Shelley was so sweet and kind hearted. I will always remember her young and happy. She was very accepting and a non judgmental person even when we were kids.
