Sheridan POPLAWSKI Obituary
POPLAWSKI, Sheridan Ann (Goodrich)
Sheridan Ann (Goodrich) Poplawski, 70, of Middletown, widow of Thomas G. Poplawski, passed away on Monday (February 25, 2013) at Middlesex Hospital. She was born in New Britain a daughter of the late Allen and Ada (Kahrmann) Goodrich. Sheridan graduated from Cromwell High School class of 1961. She retired as deputy tax assessor for the town of Cromwell in 2005. She was a member of the United Methodist Church of East Berlin. Sheridan leaves behind a daughter and son in law, Katrina and William Coady of Middletown; a brother, Roger Goodrich and his wife Cheryl of Middletown; three sisters, Linda Spurlin of Zephyrhills, FL. Allyn Santos and husband Wil of East Hampton, and Laurie Lord of Middletown. She also leaves her pride and joy, her beloved grandson Aidan Coady and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be Friday March 1, 2013, 10:15 a.m. from the Rose Hill Funeral Home 580 Elm St. Rocky Hill followed by a funeral at United Methodist Church of East Berlin 141 Main St. East Berlin, Burial will be in Rose Hill Memorial Park, Rocky Hill. Family and friends are invited to call on Thursday (February 28, 2013) from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers those wishing may make donations in Sheridan's memory to the Weiss Hospice at Middlesex Hospital 28 Crescent St Middletown, Ct. 06457.

Dearest Laurie and all the family,I want you all to know what a wonderful person I thought Sherry was. I will share a few of these nice,special traits of Sheridan with all of you.When my mother passed away it was Christmas and some how she got a card to me the very next day!Her strength and support for Laurie was very loving and intense,her devotion to Aidan and Katrina was truly beautiful to watch.I love you all, and anything you need I will help.love and prayers
